Accountable leaders training

From 2015, the HR Firm Lee Hecht Harrison conducted a study about leadership, in order to understand why, despite the huge quantity of training that managers and leaders receive, their company are not satisfied with their leadership. They collected data, interviewed and surveyed more than 2,000 senior HR or Business Executives, and to make the long story short, more than 70% of respondents globally answered that they believe that leadership accountability is a critical issue, and then, only 31% of the same respondents stated that they are satisfied with their leaders accountability.

As far as I am concerned, I will just keep this diagnosis, as I diverge with the solution that LHH gave to this problem, and the training program they offer to solve it. In my opinion, leaders will increase their accountabilities once they understand the difference between accountability and responsibility, first. Second, they need to understand who they are, develop their self-awareness, and how they work with themselves and the others. And third, they need to understand their company culture, their teams cultural profile, to be able to understand their relationship with the cultures and subcultures within their companies and teams.

Leaders Accountability Training Program This training aims at giving you all the tools you need to develop your skills as an accountable leader. To do so, we will work together to make you understand in depth your own personality and leadership,and how to articulate it with your teams in your corporate culture. The Leaders Accountability program is offered * online, within 6 sessions of 2 hours * or face-to-face within 2 days sessions (day one: sessions 1, 2, 3 – day two: sessions 4, 5, 6)

Session 3. Communication and conflict style

  • Communicating with impact
  • Empathic communication, Active Listening

Session 4. Team style

  • Team purpose, goals and means
  • You as a team member, You as a team leader
  • Strengths and blind spots

Session 5. Decision Making and Leadership posture

  • Using preferences to enhance decision-making
  • Setting directions, inspiring others to follow, mobilizing teams

Session 6. Stress Management and approach to change

  • Stressors, best and worst ways to manage stress
  • Needs, reactions and contribution during times of change

  • Individual and groups exercises specifically designed for online classes

Online Training Technology

When online, this training is delivered via a platform that will enable you to attend the classes in live, or the recorded sessions if you cannot make it, you will have then the opportunity to ask your questions directly to the trainer.

The platform enables to work as a big group, but as well split the big group in smaller groups for exercises.

If you are not very good at computers, don’t worry: attendees can connect easily with just one click to the classroom: there is no specific ability to have about IT systems. Classes can be followed from any kind of devices, even if it is better to have a dedicated space for working, and a computer or laptop.

Previous to this, he worked in Europe with numerous people from diverse nationalities as an advisor in multicultural cities. Accredited Trainer in France since 2011, he is also a professional coach for 20 years, and MBTI certified. His clients are from all around the World, on the 5 continents.
